Intervention(s)

arm of Active:Capsule includes Momordica Charantia Fruit Extract (7.5mg/Cap) given on twice daily for 12 weeks followed,and optional continuation is until 24 weeks
arm of Placebo:Capsule without Momordica Charantia Fruit Extract given on twice daily for 12 weeks followed, and optional continuation is until 24 weeks

Outcome(s)

• Primary Outcome: Comparative study of MMSE, RBANS and CGI score changes
• Secondary Outcome: Comparative study of changes in NPI, GDS15, actigraph, cerebral blood flow SPECT test

Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

• Age minimum: >= 60age old
• Age maximum: Not applicable
• Gender: Both
• Include criteria: Persons with an MMSE scorefrom 21 to 27, who agreed with the purpose of this research
• Exclude criteria: persons with serious illnesses such as malignant tumors and cerebrovascular disorders, and other mental disorders
