Primary OutcomeThe difference in bacterial count in the tongue coating after tongue brushing between the two groups
Secondary OutcomeChanges of bacterial count in the tongue coating before or after tongue brushing Association of investigation factor and bacterial count in the tongue coating

Include criteriaPatients undergoing surgery (laparotomy or laparoscopic / thoracoscopic surgery) for gastrointestinal cancer
