Intervention(s) | Seal the root canal up to 3-5 mm from the apex with MTA cement. |
Outcome(s)
Primary Outcome | Percentage of patients with reduced or eliminated root tip bone defect volume calculated from dental CBCT images |

Secondary Outcome | Evaluation of periapical tissue healing tendency using dental radiographs based on the PAI score |

Include criteria | 1. Ages 18 old over or older with written informed consent from the individual 2. Outpatients who can come in for treatment and follow-up 3. Patients with a single root and a single root canal with a radiographic transparency of the root apex before treatment and an enlarged root apex of 0.55 to 0.80 mm |
Exclude criteria | 1. patients with severe clenching and bruxism 2. patients with root fractures 3. patients with periodontal-endodontic lesions and endodontic-periodontal lesions 4. patients with perforations 4. patients with perforations 5. patients with a history of hypersensitivity, such as rash or dermatitis, to chemical substances, including raw materials of the materials under study 6. patients who are participating or intend to participate in other clinical research studies during the course of participation in this study Patients who are deemed to interfere with, limit, or confound the evaluation specific to the clinical research protocol. 8. 8. a principal investigator or employee of the institution directly involved in this or other clinical research, or a family member of such an employee, principal investigator, etc. 9. patients with findings of suspected root cysts or root granulomas in the subject tooth 10. patients who are or may be pregnant 11. patients whose clinical symptoms (spontaneous pain, bruxism, gingival redness and swelling, fistula) do not resolve after several standard root canal procedures |
