Outcome(s)

• Primary Outcome: Deviation rate of plaque adherent surface rate

Secondary Outcome

1.PCR
2.Comparison of dental plaque adhesion area between red dental plaque stain and blue dental plaque stain
3.Percentage change in dental plaque coverage, PCR, and PISA before and after oral hygiene instruction intervention using IOS
4.Patient questionnaire

Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

• Age minimum: >= 18age old
• Age maximum: Not applicable
• Gender: Both

Include criteria

1.Ages 18 old over
2.Written informed consent was obtained from the patient
3.Periodontal disease and/or peri-implantitis patients
4.Regulary oral hygiene treatment for dentist or hygienist (more than 6 months)
5.PCR of more than 20 percent
6.Cognitive ability to accurately understand and answer answer a questionnaire

Exclude criteria

1.A person with a pacemaker or ICD
2.Edentulous
3.All missing molars and premolars
4.Mouth opening disorder or TMJ disorder
5.Deemed inappropriate by the principal investigator or co-investigators
