• Primary Outcome: HbA1c

Average blood glucose and glucose cariability
Hypoglycemic frequency
Insulin dose
Comparison of these outcomes between type 1 and type 2 diabetes

Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

• Age minimum: >= 20age old
• Age maximum: Not applicable
• Gender: Both

Include criteria

Diabetic patients who perform self-monitoring of blood glucose
Patients whose latest HbA1c is 7.0 to 8.9%
Patients who have smartphones or tablets that can use smart e-SMBG
Patients who have not used smart e-SMBG or similar applications so far
Patients who use blood glucose meters that can link smart e-SMBG
Patients who are 20 years old or older
Patients who understood the research contents and obtained consent

• Exclude criteria: Patients who can not properly operate smart e-SMBG
