Intervention(s)Doxycycline 100 mg administered orally twice daily for three days.

Outcome(s)

Primary OutcomeTreatment success rate at 28 days post-treatment (all sites) The treatment success is defined by a negative result on a nucleic acid amplification test after treatment. In cases of multiple site infections, the treatment is considered a failure if even one site remains positive. For each specific site, treatment success is confirmed by a negative result at the corresponding site.
Secondary OutcomeTreatment success rate at 28 days post-treatment (by site) Treatment success rate at 14 days post-treatment (all sites, by site) Symptom resolution rate: the proportion of symptomatic individuals who experience symptom relief Incidence rate of adverse events

Include criteria1. Adults aged 18 years or older at the time of consent acquisition. 2. Individuals in whom Chlamydia trachomatis has been detected in urine, pharyngeal, vaginal, or rectal specimens. 3. Individuals who have provided written consent to participate in the study.
Exclude criteria1. Individuals who are allergic to the treatment medication. 2. Individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding. 3. Individuals whom the attending physician deems unsuitable for participation in the study.
