Basic Information

Recruitment status Complete
Health condition(s) or Problem(s) studiedHealth probrem studied
Date of first enrollment20/02/2019
Target sample size24
Countries of recruitmentJapan
Study typeInterventional
Intervention(s)Root resection will be performed in accordance with the back root canal filling method using MTA cement supervised by the Japan Endodontic Society. CGF is prepared by centrifugation, and divided into a CGF combination group and an unused group by random assignment, and transplanted to the apical periodontal tissue defect.

Outcome(s)

Primary Outcome1) Statistical analysis items Preoperative dental cone beam CT and intraoperative bone defect classification Observation of three-dimensional bone regeneration by dental cone beam CT imaging at 6 months after surgery Measurement of lesion reduction rate Take dental photographs every 3 months up to 12 months and measure the reduction rate of lesions The above data will be used to compare the effectiveness of bone regeneration between the two groups with and without CGF using statistical methods such as Mann-Whitney's U test or Student t-test. 2) Determination of clinical symptoms Immediately before and after surgery, determine the degree of pain, percussion pain, and apical tenderness during the follow-up period
