• Intervention(s): The orthopaedic surgeon performs a continuous pericapsular nerve group block by inserting a catheter during the hip arthroplasty.

Outcome(s)

• Primary Outcome: pain assessement (NRS score)

Secondary Outcome

analgesic use (opioid included)
sensory loss
motion loss
distance in ambulation and weight bearing under tolerable pain during rehabilitation process

Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

• Age minimum: >= 60age old
• Age maximum: Not applicable
• Include criteria: Patients with femoral neck fracture, trochanteric fracture, osteoarthritis of hip, femoral head necrosis, and hip impingement syndrome.
• Exclude criteria: Patients with severe mental illness, dementia, drug addiction, or a local anesthetic allergy.
