Outcome(s)

Primary OutcomeEvaluation items include measurement of electroencephalogram and event-related potential P-300 as neurophysiological tests. In addition, a short version of the Profile of Mood States 2nd Edition for Adults will be administered as a neuropsychological test.
Secondary OutcomeBlood pressure, pulse, and earlobe blood flow are measured as autonomic nerve tests.

Include criteriahealthy young adults
Exclude criteriaPeople who notice a loss of sense of smell after chronic sinusitis or upper respiratory tract infection
