Three-dimensional measurement of occlusal appliances
Dental electromyography during sleep

Measurement of occlusal force

Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

• Age minimum: >= 20age old
• Age maximum: < 60age old
• Gender: Both

Include criteria

Students, faculty and staff enrolled at the University of Tokushima, or patients visiting the University of Tokushima Hospital.
Able-bodied people between 20 and 60 years old.
Persons diagnosed with sleep braxism by dental electromyography measurement during sleep.

Exclude criteria

Those with missing dentition except for the third molars.
Ongoing dental treatment, including orthodontic treatment.
Those that cannot be properly evaluated due to brain or psychiatric/neurological disorders.
Shaking teeth due to severe periodontitis, etc. in all jaws.
Sleep-related illness, medical or neurological disorder, drug use or substance use disorder.
Baseline dental electromyography measurement during sleep that did not diagnose sleep bruxism.
