Primary OutcomeThe Japanese Orthopedic Association (JOA) score, a visual analog scale (VAS) for low back pain and leg symptoms, radiographic evaluation (slipping rate, translational mobility, and angular mobility)
Secondary OutcomeComplications or any harmful effect, evaluation of reoperation cases

Include criteriaThe presence of lumbar spinal stenosis with a slipping rate 10% or more at L4-5 in the neutral position on a standing radiograph and microscopic decompression performed at L4-5 without spinal fusion
Exclude criteriaAny previous lumbar surgery, concomitant disc herniation, radiculopathy due to intra- and/or extra-foraminal stenosis, female patients receiving hormone replacement therapy for postmenopausal conditions and/or who had an oophorectomy prior to surgery or during the follow-up period.
