Outcome(s)

• Primary Outcome: The amount of change over time in the total thickness and total height of the labial hard and soft tissue of the implant body.
• Secondary Outcome: Amount of change over time in thickness and height of the labial hard tissue of the implant body.

Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

• Age minimum: Not applicable
• Age maximum: Not applicable
• Gender: Both
• Include criteria: Patients who were treated with dental implants in the maxillary anterior and premolar regions and had a final restoration within the study period from April 2011 at the Department of Oral Prosthodontics and Oral Implant Center, Osaka University Dental Hospital, and had CBCT imaging performed to evaluate the progress of treatment at the time the final restoration was placed and after one year.

Exclude criteria

Patients who are habitual smokers and are under treatment for diabetes mellitus.
Patients with unclear measurement data due to artifacts.
