Plasma metabolomics in patients with atopic dermatitis following a single administration of Nemolizumab

Outcome(s)

• Primary Outcome: This study will perform explorative analysis of the temporal variations of each metabolite, using the pre-administration measurements of healthy adults and AD patients as controls. Based on these temporal variations, we will cluster the AD patients and perform metabolites pathway enrichment analysis for each cluster.

Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

• Age minimum: >= 20age old
• Age maximum: < 60age old
• Gender: Both

Include criteria

1) Group with AD patients
Stored plasma samples collected from AD patients with moderate or severe pruritus in the clinical trial (jRCT2080225290) will be used.

2)Group with healthy volunteers
Stored plasma samples collected from healthy volunteers who have never been diagnosed with AD in the past and are not currently diagnosed with AD in the clinical research (jRCT1030230474) will be used.

Exclude criteria

1) Group with AD patients
Stored plasma samples collected from AD patients with moderate or severe pruritus in the clinical trial (jRCT2080225290) will be used.

2)Group with healthy volunteers
Stored plasma samples collected from healthy volunteers who have never been diagnosed with AD in the past and are not currently diagnosed with AD in the clinical research (jRCT1030230474) will be used.
