2.Real time polymerase chain reaction of chymase
3.histological analysis

Secondary Outcome

1.TGF-beta activity
2.Real time polymerase chain reaction of TGF-beta

Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

• Age minimum: >= 20age old
• Age maximum: < 80age old
• Gender: Both

Include criteria

1.underwent total gastrectomy or proximal gastrectomy for gastric cancer
2.underwent gastric tube reconstruction after esophagectomy for esophageal cancer
3.Written informed consent.

Exclude criteria

1.Receiving continuous systemic corticosteroid
2.Peritoneal Dissemination, positive lavage cytology
3.Positive margins
