Usefulness of Echogenic Nerve Root Block with MRI Imaging

• Intervention(s): During the nerve root block procedure, the echo with fused MRI images will be performed according to the provisions of the research plan.

Outcome(s)

• Primary Outcome: Nerve root angiography is used to confirm the feasibility (presence or absence of reproducible pain) during nerve root block.
• Secondary Outcome: The persistence of the nerve root block effect will be investigated before the procedure, immediately after the procedure, and one week later, in terms of pain NRS, physical findings that reproduce radicular pain (SLR test, Kemp test, FNST test), and the presence of adverse events (effects).

Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

• Age minimum: >= 18age old
• Age maximum: Not applicable
• Include criteria: Patients diagnosed with lumbar nerve root disease due to lumbar disc herniation or lumbar spinal canal stenosis and undergoing nerve root block at institutions participating in this study.

Exclude criteria

1. women who are pregnant or may become pregnant
2. women who are breastfeeding
3. women who are deemed by the investigator to be inappropriate to participate in this study.
