Inner muscle stimulation by interference low-frequency stimulation

Intervention(s)

Participants are assigned at random to either the control group or the low-frequency interference stimulation group.
Following the low-frequency interference stimulation group, the participants will perform low-frequency interference stimulation, then receive 18F-FDG injection. After the 18F-FDG injection, a PET scan will be performed.
The control group will undergo a PET after injection of 18F-FDG without any interventions.

Outcome(s)

• Primary Outcome: Skeletal muscle accumulation in PET images

Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

• Age minimum: >= 18age old
• Age maximum: Not applicable
• Gender: Male

Include criteria

1) Adult healthy males who can understand the study's content.
2) Persons who have given their free and voluntary written consent to participate in this study after giving full informed consent.

Exclude criteria

1) Those who have been diagnosed with diabetes mellitus and are under treatment, or those who have an HbA1c of 6.5% or more without treatment.
2) Persons who have undergone a PET scan in the past and have a history of allergy to the drug (18F-FDG).
3) Persons who are judged to be unsuitable as research subjects by the principal investigator or a research assistant investigator.
