• Intervention(s): We will conduct a prospective investigation to determine whether improvement in nutritional status, physical function, and spinal alignment is achievable through nutritional intervention (nutritional guidance and intake of nutritional supplements) and exercise intervention (lower limb resistance training) targeting participants from the TOEI study, a community health screening conducted in Toei Town, Kitashitara District, Aichi Prefecture, Japan.

Outcome(s)

• Primary Outcome: Spinal alignment using the radiograph
• Secondary Outcome: Blood samplig data and phisical function

Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

• Age minimum: >= 60age old
• Age maximum: Not applicable
• Gender: Both
• Include criteria: Individuals aged 60 or more, capable of walking, and those who have provided written consent.

Exclude criteria

Individuals deemed inappropriate by the attending physician.
Individuals with mobility impairments due to musculoskeletal disorders.
Patients whom the attending physician has deemed unable to undergo exercise stress due to conditions such as heart failure.
Those with an eGFR (estimated glomerular filtration rate) of 44 mL/min/1.73m2 or lower based on blood test results.
