• Intervention(s): The laboring woman will wear the Meta Quest 3 512GB all-in-one VR headset and view the VR applications, including active and relaxation content for 10-30 minutes during the first and second stages of labor. The timing, frequency and duration of VR use will be based on the woman's preference.

Outcome(s)

• Primary Outcome: sensory pain dimension, cognitive pain dimension, affective pain dimension
• Secondary Outcome: satisfaction of birth experience, usability of VR application and VR experience, any other adverse effect

Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

• Age minimum: >= 20age old
• Age maximum: Not applicable
• Gender: Female
• Include criteria: pregnanct women who are over the age of 20 years and agree to participate this study

Exclude criteria

1) Pregnant women who are scheduled for cesarean section.
2) Pregnant women who have undergone cesarean section due to complications in the early stages of labor.
3) Women who have given birth before using VR.
4) Women who received any medication for pain during labor.
5) Pregnant women, who are foreigners and need an interpreter, or who have pre-existing conditions such as visual or hearing impairment, mental disorder, epilepsy, or motion sickness.
6) Other pregnant women deemed inappropriate as research subjects by the principal investigator.
