Primary OutcomeChanges in urine oxygen tension and the percentage of urine that can be collected from new devices
Secondary OutcomeAgreement of measured urine oxygen tension with previous studies, comparison of measurement error between blood gas devices, correlation between arterial blood oxygen partial pressure and urine oxygen tension, correlation of arterial blood oxygen partial pressure and central venous blood oxygen partial pressure to urine carbon dioxide tension, relationship between trends in urine oxygen tension and acute kidney injury

Include criteriaPatients scheduled for elective cardiac surgery requiring cardiopulmonary bypass
Exclude criteriaEstimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) <60 ml/min/1.73 m2 (including hemodialysis), history of urinary tract modification surgery, unable to insert a urinary catheter intended for use, and unable to provide informed consent.
