Intervention(s)The radiation exposure dose of the surgeon will be measured with and without the use of radiation reducing protective equipment during spinal fixation surgery. Interventions will be made regarding whether or not to use radiation reducing protective equipment for spinal fusion cases.

Outcome(s)

Primary OutcomeComparison of radiation doses to the lens, chest, and abdomen of surgeons with and without radiation exposure protection equipment during spinal fusion surgery
Secondary OutcomeCorrelation between the operator's exposure dose and the irradiation dose of the mobile X-ray fluoroscope
