• Intervention(s): Multidisciplinary approach includes patient education focusing on medication by phramacists, patient education focusing on nutrition and sodium intake by nutritionists, patient education regarding symptoms monitoring by murses, and cardiac rehabilitation following catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation by physical therapists.

Outcome(s)

• Primary Outcome: Recurrence of atrial tachycarrhythmias

Secondary Outcome

Hospitalization or increase in dose of diuretics du
e to HF exacerbation
Changes in NYHA Class
Changes in Exercise capacity (cardiopulmonary ex
ercise training)
Changes in QoL
Changes in serum BNP level
Changes in echocardiographic parameters (LVEF,
LVDd, LAD, and LA volume)

Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

• Age minimum: >= 18age old
• Age maximum: Not applicable
• Gender: Both
• Include criteria: Patinets, aged over 18 years old, who undergo catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation at Tokai University Hospital and other institutes are included.
• Exclude criteria: Patients aged <18 years old, who refuse or unable to obtain consent to participate the study due to dementia or disturbance of consciousness, and are considered to be not eligible to paticipate the study by the investigators are excluded.
