Outcome(s)

Primary Outcome

Mean skill test score difference between pre-training and 4-month post-training
(This pilot study does not aim to test a hypothesis of the provisional primary outcome. The primary outcome selection and forming a hypothesis for future study are the main purpose of this study)

Secondary Outcome

1: Mean skill test score difference between pre-training and immediate post-training
2: Mean skill test score difference between pre-training and 2-month post-training
3: Mean skill test score difference between immediate post-training and 2-month post-training
4: Mean skill test score difference between immediate post-training and 4-month post-training
5: Mean skill test score difference between immediate 2-month post-training and 4-month post-training
6: Confidence of cardiac POCUS skills at pre-, immediate post-, 2-month post-, and 4-month post-training (5-point Likert scale)
7: Participants' satisfaction of the cardiac POCUS curriculum (5-point Likert scale)

Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

• Age minimum: Not applicable
• Age maximum: Not applicable
• Gender: Both
• Include criteria: Medical interns who participated in the cardiac point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) curriculum at Kameda Medical Center between June 1, 2021 and April 30, 2022.
• Exclude criteria: The medical interns who refuse to participate in this study.
