Primary OutcomeExtracellular fluid volume by impedance method, daily water removal volume, daily urine volume, and daily sodium excretion
Secondary OutcomeEdema, body weight, blood pressure, cardiothoracic ratio, serum creatinine, serum electrolytes, blood gases, PET, weekly Kt/V, weekly CCr, hANP, blood beta-2 microglobulin, cardiac function by echocardiography, flow mediated dilation measurement

Age minimum>= 20age old

Include criteria1) Patients who obtained wrriten consent of participation in this research from patients or proxies. 2) Patinets who have hypertension or heart failure. 3) Patinets who underwent PET examination (PET, Weekly CCr, Weekly Kt/V, Daily urine volume mesurement) at least once.
Exclude criteria1) Patients who take any angiotensin-converting-enzyme inhibitors within 36 hours of the start of the study. 2) Patients who have had side effects in the past with the drug or its ingredients (valsartan and/or neprilysin).
