Sublingual immunotherapy in preschool children with allergic rhinitis

Intervention(s)Patients aged 1 to 4 years with perennial allergic rhinitis are randomized to the A: intervention group or B: control group. Patients in Group A take a house dust mite sublingual immunotherapy tablet once a day for 12 months.

Outcome(s)

Primary OutcomeImprovement in nasal and eye symptom scores after 1 year
Secondary Outcome1.Improvement in medication scores after 1 year 2.Frequency of adverse reactions 3.Changes in blood variables 4.Sensitization to other inhaled antigens

Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

Age minimum>= 1age old
Age maximum<= 4age old
GenderBoth
Include criteria1.Patients with perennial allergic rhinitis symptoms 2.Patients with allergic rhinitis who have a specific IgE RAST score of 1 for Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus and D. farinae 3.Diagnosis of perennial allergic rhinitis by a doctor
Exclude criteria1.Patients with severe bronchial asthma 2.Patients with severe atopic dermatitis 3.Patients who have dogs and cats
