Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

Age minimum> 3month old
Age maximum< 10age old
GenderBoth
Include criteria1) Patients who visited the Department between April 1, 2018 and February 1, 2024. 2) Patients between the ages of 0 and 10 years diagnosed with unilateral congenital cataract. 3) Patients who have undergone lens reconstruction (intraocular lens insertion, planned posterior capsulotomy) after 3 months of age.
Exclude criteria1) Patients outside the eligible age group 2) Patients with bilateral congenital cataracts. 3) Patients with different surgical procedures. 4) Patients who underwent surgery within 3 months of birth. 5) Patients with organic ocular complications other than cataract. (6) Patients whose visual acuity cannot be measured due to low age or intellectual developmental disability.
