Outcome(s)

• Primary Outcome: To evaluate the risk of pneumococcal diseases in Japanese children with CMCs compared to those without CMCs.

Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

• Age minimum: Not applicable
• Age maximum: < 19age old
• Gender: Both

Include criteria

-Aged less than 19 years on January 1 (index date) of each calendar year between 2007 and 2022
-Continuously enrolled in the database for at least 1 year (1 year old and older) or 1 month (under 1 year old) before the index date. Continuously enrolled in the database for at least 1 year after the index date

• Exclude criteria: There is no defined criteria for exclusion among those who meet the inclusion criteria.
