Intervention(s) | This ADHD-CBT program was developed based on Safren's manual on individual cognitive-behavioral therapy for ADHD in adulthood. It involves 12-16 in-person weekly sessions, consisting of an interview and a task for the examinee to complete outside the interview. However, due to the developmental characteristics of adult ADHD, noncompliance is assumed with assigned tasks. Therefore, rather than focusing on compliance with homework assignments, this program emphasizes building a relationship between the therapist and patient that facilitates continued participation. |
