• Primary Outcome: Correlation between SUVR and amplitude in the gamma/theta band in patients with focal and generalized epilepsy

Correlation between SUVR and BPnd in Patients with Focal and Generalized Epilepsy
Significant differences in SUVR between normal subjects and patients with focal or generalized epilepsy
Correlation between SUVR and I Q score in patients with focal and generalized epilepsy

Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

• Age minimum: >= 20age old
• Age maximum: < 59age old
• Gender: Male

The data were obtained in the 'A clinical trial to examine age-and-sex-related changes of AMPA receptor density in healthy volunteers.' and the data should be analyzable in males in their 20s-40s.
The data must be from a pilot study (UMIN000025132) 'The clinical trial to examine the densities of AMPA receptors in epilepsy patients with [11C]K-2'The data must be [11C]K-2 imaging data and electroencephalogram (EEG) data that can be analyzed and that were taken within 1 year after the last seizure in epilepsy patients.
The data must be an analyzable [11C]K-2 imaging data, IQ score, and EEG data of epilepsy patients taken in an epidemiological clinical study (UMIN000031624)'The clinical trial to examine the densities of AMPA receptors in epilepsy patients with [11C]K-2'
