Intervention(s)

General anesthesia is performed using sevoflurane combination with propofol.
Propofol will be used as the control group and the combination of 0.2 MAC and 0.5 MAC of sevoflurane will be used as the intervention group. In the control group, after confirming that the MEP has been recorded, the MEP will be evaluated with 0.2 MAC in combination. The same evaluation will then be performed with 0.5 MAC.

Outcome(s)

• Primary Outcome: Propofol, sevoflurane 0.2 MAC and 0.5 MAC on suprathreshold stimulus intensity.

Percentage of same amplitude elicited
Threshold
Latency of MEP waveform
Hemodynamic state including blood pressure and heart rate
Depth of sedation evaluated by bistral index value

Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

• Age minimum: >= 20age old
• Age maximum: Not applicable
• Gender: Both

Include criteria

Patients who undergo neurosurgery using motor evoked potential monitoring.
Patients whose age more than 20 yrs

• Exclude criteria: Patients who motor evoked potential monitoring can not be performed appropriately.
