• Intervention(s): Inhalation of 50% nitrous oxide is performed from start of closing surgical incision to 5 minutes before discontinuation of anesthetic agent.

Outcome(s)

• Primary Outcome: Incidence of postanesthetic shivering from just after emergence to 30 minutes after emergence.

Secondary Outcome

Severity of postanesthetic shivering
Heart rate, blood pressure, SpO2, Perfusion index during 30 minutes after emergence from anesthesia
Adverse events during postoperative 24 hours

Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

• Age minimum: >= 18age old
• Age maximum: Not applicable
• Gender: Both

Include criteria

Patients who received general anesthesia combined with epidural anesthesia
Patients who received Pancreaticoduodenectomy/Distal pancreatectomy or Hepatectomy

Exclude criteria

Patients who can not receive epidural anesthesia
Patients with difficulty of core or peripheral temeperature probe placement
