Intervention(s)<Day1>Practice of bench press <Day2>Measurement of one repetition maximum of bench press <Day3-6>Three sets of bench presses at 65-70% of one repetition maximum are performed under one of the following conditions. Condition 1: Bench press is terminated when the lifting velocity for each set has decreased by 30% or more. Condition 2: Bench press is terminated when the lifting velocity for each set has decreased by 40% or more. Condition 3: Bench press is terminated when the lifting velocity for each set has decreased by 50% or more. Condition 4: Bench press is terminated when the lifting velocity for each set has decreased by 60% or more.

Include criteriaThe participant must be a member of an athletic team (including an off-campus club team). Must have experience performing bench press
