Differences in the effects of music with and without vocals during practice on motor learning: A study including the personality traits of the subjects

Intervention(s)vocal-included group: They listen to music with song while practicing the boccia task. In addition, their performance in the boccia task was verbally communicated after each throw. No-song group: They listened to music without song while practicing the boccia task.In addition, their performance in the boccia task was verbally communicated after each throw.

Outcome(s)

Primary OutcomeAs an outcome of motor learning, performance on a motor task modeled after Boccia will be measured. In addition, the subjects' personality traits will be measured using the Japanese version of the Ten Item Personality Inventory (TIPI-J), and handedness will be measured using the Edinburgh Handedness Test. In addition, the subjects' mental fatigue will be measured using Flicker and the NASA task load index.

GenderMale and Female
Include criteria
Exclude criteriaThose with orthopedic or neurological diseases or sequelae. Those with medical risks such as heart disease. Those with a history of formal Boccia competition.
