• Age minimum: 18years-old
• Age maximum: Not applicable
• Gender: Male and Female
• Exclude criteria: 1) Patients who did not undergo thoracic drainage 2) Patients with chronic empyema 3) Patients with tuberculous pleurisy 4) Patients who have indicated their refusal to participate in this study either by themselves or by their family members.
