Intervention(s)

Installation of chlorine dioxide gas generating product for 2 months =>(Washout period for 2 weeks) => Placebo installation for 2 months
Placebo installation for 2 months => (Washout period for 2 weeks) => Installation of chlorine dioxide gas generating product for 2 months

Outcome(s)

• Primary Outcome: Cumulative incidence rate of influenza
• Secondary Outcome: Absence days, Non-influenza respiratory infections: Incidence rate of each respiratory symptom (fever, headache, cough / nasal juice), Infectious gastroenteritis: Rate of infectious gastroenteritis, and gastroenteritis incidence (diarrhea, abdominal pain, vomiting / nausea)

Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

• Age minimum: 6years-old
• Age maximum: 12years-old
• Gender: Male and Female
• Exclude criteria: Students with chemical sensitivity to chlorine bleach and chlorination of pools. In addition, students who are judged by the principal investigator to be inappropriate as research subjects.
