Effects of interference current stimulation with t-DCS on swallowing function

Intervention(s)Twenty minute interference current stimulation and/or 20 minute t-DCS intervention in healthy adults. Swallowing monitor(B4S) is used for analysis. Twenty minute interference current stimulation once a day, for seven days and/or 20 minute t-DCS intervention once a day for four days in ten hospital days. Swallowing monitor(B4S) and Videofluorography are used for analysis.

Outcome(s)

Primary Outcomethe numbers of swallowing reflex and the onset times of each repetitive saliva swallowing reflexes on RSST
Secondary OutcomeImmediate effects ; Stage transition duration, distance of hyoid bone and larynx during swallowing reflex, penetration aspiration scale using VF findings Short term effects: dysphagia severity scale,eating status scale,functional oral intake scale

Exclude criteriaHealthy adults 1)Unstable condition 2)People who use cardiac pacemaker 3) People with a metal device like a crip in their heads, 4) with a history of epilepsy 5) with a history of stroke, neuromuscular disease, pharyngeal or laryngeal organic disorders, respiratory diseases or upper gastrointestinal tract diseases.6)Pregnant woman 7)People whom the doctors judge as inappropriate Patients with pharyngeal dysphagia 1)Unstable condition 2)Patients who use cardiac pacemaker 3) Patients with a metal device like a crip in their heads, 4) with a history of epilepsy 5) Pregnant woman 6)Patients whom the doctors judge as inappropriate
