Intervention(s)PH impedance monitoring and high resolution manometry are conducted in patients with phychosomatic disorders.If a diagnosis of supragastric belching or rumination syndrome is made, behavioural and cognitive therapy is conducted.

Outcome(s)

Primary OutcomeHow common are supragastric belching and rumination syndrome in children with psychosomatic illnesses who have gastrointestinal symptoms? Is oesophageal motility affected as a cause of gastrointestinal symptoms? To what extent does behavioral and cognitive therapy, such as abdominal breathing, improve the symptoms of surpragatric belching and rumination syndrome, and is it likely to have a lasting effect?
Secondary OutcomeCan the test be used to further classify the cause of gastrointestinal symptoms in children with psychosomatic diseases?

Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

Age minimum>= 6age old
Age maximum<= 15age old
GenderBoth
Include criteriaThose who have given written consent to participate in the study from themselves or a substitute.
Exclude criteriaSubjects should be between the ages of 6 years (first grade of primary school) and 15 years (up to junior high school). Signatures may not be obtained for school-age cases, and consent will be obtained from the research subject's substitute by explaining in the assent document.
