Outcome(s)

• Primary Outcome: The degree of postoperative pain evaluated by CHEOPS score and VAS

Secondary Outcome

The rate of patients who required analgesic medicines on the day of surgery
The rate of patients who required analgesic medicines after discharge
The interval from the end of surgery to the time when analgesic medications were prescribed
The type and dose of prescribed analgesic medicines
Postoperative nausea and vomiting
The rate of patients who stayed at hospital overnight after surgery
Unexpected ambulatory care
Re-admission
Postoperative complications

Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

• Age minimum: >= 2age old
• Age maximum: <= 12age 11month 3weeks old
• Gender: Both
• Include criteria: Pediatric patients (2~12 years old) undergoing laparoscopic inguinal hernia surgery in Tokai Universiy Hospital

Exclude criteria

Platelet count < 100000/mm3
PT-INR > 1.5
Mental retardation
Patients who are considered as inappropriate for inclusion
