Recruitment status Recruiting
Health condition(s) or Problem(s) studiedParkinson's disease
Date of first enrollment21/01/2022
Target sample size60
Countries of recruitment
Study typeInterventional
Intervention(s)We will ask the participants to walk a straight line of about 20 meters one way and about 40 meters round trip, and measure their movements at the beginning, during walking, turning, and at the end of walking using optical sensors linked to video and devices (accelerometers) attached to their arms, legs, posterior neck, and waist. Outcome(s)

Primary OutcomeRelationship between clinical symptoms and changes in gait parameters during normal walking and walking under dual task in Parkinson's disease patients. Differences in changes of gait parameters between patients with Parkinson's disease and healthy subjects during normal walking and walking under dual task.
